aNDREW MCGINLEY

Prior to founding Care Sourcer, Andrew was a Director and Registered Manager of his family owned Care at Home service - Prestige Nursing + Care Edinburgh. Andrew was responsible for the overall management of over 100 staff and client growth of the business. In the time that Andrew was the Registered Manager the business achieved grades of 6 - Excellent across all areas inspected by the Care Inspectorate for 4 consecutive years. The service was also nominated for Scottish Care at Home Provider of the Year award in 2016 shortly before leaving to launch Care Sourcer.

Care Sourcer has a dedicated team of healthcare experts and web developers striving to help as many people as possible. The business has had notable success in discharging patients from the hospital who require on-going care and support. The product is being used by a number of NHS trusts in England with great achievements to date.

Andrew is delighted to be joining the Edinburgh Care Forum where can share his passion for helping people with a group of like-minded experts. Understanding and making decisions around care can be a very stressful and overwhelming experience and the Edinburgh Care Forum can help alleviate some of this pressure and bring reassurance to making the correct decisions.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE…

When Andrew manages to find the spare time he can be found on the golf course. A very keen golfer with a handicap of 6 which he would argue could be lower if he was able to play more. Andrew likes watching all sports, especially football while his wife enjoys the peace and quiet!
