Catherine has worked in the banking industry for over 35 years. She started her career working in the local branch of a high street bank in the north east of Scotland before moving to Edinburgh in 1987.
With a real passion for customer service it was a natural progression for her to move into private banking, dealing mainly with high net worth individuals. The move to Handelsbanken in 2013 allowed her to diversify her customer base and Catherine's customers all enjoy the same high level of personal service whether they be young professionals, business owners, wealthy individuals or simply need a more personal banking relationship.
Areas where Catherine can help include day to day banking; current accounts, savings, mortgages and bridging loans. She provides a very personal relationship banking service and really spends time getting to know you and understand your needs.
Many individuals and their families find it difficult to know where or who to turn to for information and advice in later years for help with things such as care services, banking, tax, financial matters, property and end of life planning, This can be very confusing and upsetting for all concerned. I have seen it first hand myself when my father developed some quite serious health issues and it was very difficult for my mum to get the help and support she needed. Of course, my family is not unique but had it not been for my involvement with ECF we would not have known where to turn. I have come to appreciate the importance of getting the right information and making life as easy as possible in difficult circumstances.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE......
Catherine spends her spare time with family and friends. She enjoys going to the gym and has recently taken up golf.
