MORAG WATSON

Many of her clients are business owners, looking to maximise planning for their retirement, whilst others have made the move from employment to retirement and are looking at ways to pass on their Estate efficiently. 

Morag has clients throughout Scotland and beyond, and whilst many chose to come and see her, she is equally happy going to visit clients in their own surroundings.  This might involve a pair of wellies when visiting farming clients, or even on occasion donning a hard hat to go round a building site!

Areas where Morag can help include annual tax compliance, tax planning for retirement, capital tax planning including capital gains tax and inheritance tax, and general succession planning.

Why ECF?

Having been asked to join ECF at the beginning of 2019, I am beginning to realise just how important the organisation can be to clients in the later stages of their lives.  Often they are unsure who to turn to for help, and so having an organisation like ECF that offers experts in so many different areas is I believe invaluable.  I am looking forward to getting to know the other experts and to hopefully introducing some of my clients to others who can provide appropriate advice to meet their needs.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE...

Morag is a keen musician, who enjoys playing the oboe with Scottish Sinfonia, and singing with a variety of different groups.  She has two children and spends a large amount of time at the side of rugby pitches.  Morag also enjoys holidays, both in Scotland and abroad.
