When thinking about making a Will there are some crucial issues to consider, 

all of which are unique to each of us. These are:

• What assets do I own and might I have an inheritance tax issue?
• Who do I want to appoint as my executors (the people who will administer your estate)?
• Do I want to leave specific items to friends or family?
• If I have young children do I want to ring fence my estate for them until they are a certain age?
• Is there a chance I might need to go into care in the future and if so how can I structure my Will to protect my assets?
• Who would look after young children if I die?
• Do I have specific funeral wishes?
